Fibre Optic Linear Heat Detection Systems: Designed for high-risk commercial and industrial hazards that demand high reliability and customised system features, this linear heat detection system uses state-of-the-art fibre optic sensing technology. The system consists of Type PFS Fibre Optic Sensor Cable and the PTS Controllers with related software. The PTS Series Controllers can be configured for various alarm criteria and can be connected to an approved fire alarm control panel using relay inputs and outputs.
A continuous linear thermometer actively reporting temperature readings in real time. The restorable linear heat detector is comprised of quartz fibres enclosed in a low-smoke, zero-halogen jacket. Immune to all EMI and RFI, the fibre optic linear detector can be configured to offer custom alarm criteria and zone sizes up to 10 km in length.
