The TS-SND-BC2A is an interface unit that utilises the standard sounder circuit of a compatible fire control panel supplied by Technoswitch to provide a high-powered sounder output. The sounder output is fully monitored for open and short circuits, and the built-in monitored power supply provides up to 2A to power external sounders.
The interface must be mounted at the end of the panel’s sounder output circuit to maintain correct fault monitoring.
External LED indications are provided for Sounder On and Power On. These will allow the user to view when the output is activated and when power is being supplied to the interface.
The interface unit is housed in an ABS enclosure with a snap-on lid secured by two machine screws. Cable entry points and wall mounting holes are provided. The ABS enclosure will easily accommodate 7 Ah batteries.
Note: This interface is designed for use with fire control panels supplied by Technoswitch. Operation with fire detection control panels from other manufacturers has not been confirmed.
