Extinguishing Release Interface TEC05701

The TEC05701 is a universal extinguishant interface unit with a test facility, specifically designed and tested for use with extinguishing control panels supplied by Technoswitch.

Although the product should be compatible with other manufacturers’ fire extinguishing control panels, Technoswitch has not performed any tests to verify compatibility.

Therefore, the following is highly recommended when using the TEC05701 in your installations, regardless of the extinguishing panel being used:

1. Complete the functional test procedure as detailed in the TEC05701 manual (see Downloads tab below). Any potential wiring issues or panel incompatibility issues will be identified if this functional test is completed correctly. This functional test also forms part of the Commission and Acceptance tests as detailed in SANS 306, SANS 14520 and SANS 15779, which are required to ensure the correct functional operation of fire extinguishing systems.
2. Ensure that the manufacturer’s specifications of the actuating devices used are within the operational specifications of the TEC05701.
