The Technoswitch RHINO103 Extinguishing Control Panel range is ideal for commercial and industrial applications requiring a reliable and robust fire detection and extinguishing solution. The RHINO 103 range has been designed to comply with EN54 parts 2 & 4, and EN 12094. Additionally, the panel has undergone third-party testing to verify compliance with the aforementioned standards.

The weatherproof enclosure version is suitable for industrial/outdoor applications and is available with or without a DIN rail wiring strip.

The RHINO103 Repeater Panels are housed in either an ABS or weatherproof enclosure and mimic all the alarm indications of the master extinguishing panel. Up to 31 repeater panels can be wired onto the communication bus in a “ring” configuration. The repeater panels are available without a built-in power supply. Each repeater has an onboard manual release call point.

The integral switch-mode power supply features a wide AC voltage input range of 100 V AC to 240 V AC, making it ideal for scenarios with widely fluctuating mains supplies. The power supply’s battery charging capabilities allow for the connection of 7 Ah batteries.

Each of the three zones can support up to 32 devices, and any combination of zones can be configured to trigger the single extinguishant output. Each zone can also be configured to operate as an intrinsically safe zone.

The panels offer General Fire and Fault Relays, three programmable relays, three programmable monitored sounder circuits, one programmable monitored input and a dedicated hold input.

The SOLAR software application customises the panel’s programmable features, providing unsurpassed flexibility.

Comprehensive test and fault-finding features simplify maintenance, including a one-man walk test, a first-in-first-out 1,000-event log, and onboard status LEDs for pinpointing fault identification.

The Technoswitch TEC04701 and TEC247 extinguishing panel range was phased out in June 2023 and replaced by the EN54-compliant, feature-rich RHINO103 product range.
