OSID enables early smoke detection in large open areas.
Open-area Smoke Imaging Detection (OSID) combines advanced dual-wavelength projected beams and optical imaging technology for early warning smoke detection. It provides a low-cost, reliable and easy-to-install solution that overcomes typical beam detection issues such as false alarm incidents and alignment difficulties.
This technology features high tolerance to vibration and structural movement and differentiates better between smoke and environmental conditions than traditional beam detectors. OSID operates in both pitch-dark as well as bright sunlight.
